CSU rankings increase, just another reason to Relocate to Fort Collins

Monday, August 23rd, 2010

Are you looking for another reason to relocate to Fort Collins? Well, CSU was ranked as one of the top schools in the West in the recent Princeton Review. This is a rating done by students based on many different categories and questions.

This is another great feather in the cap of a univerisity that is proving itself to be situated as a leader in many colleges at the right place and the right time.

Many CSU students live in the Old Town or Campus West area of Fort Collins. These neighborhoods are located close to campus but also close to many other amenities like downtown Fort Collins. www.downtownfortcollins.com The houses are older bungalow or ranch styles with 2-5 bedrooms.
The city of Fort Collins does have some ordiances that only allow 3 unrelated people to live together, sthis has made some property values decline and others increase, because of the amount of rents that can be collected. If you are thinking about relocating to Fort Collins and have some questions about neighborhoods or if you have a child at CSU and are thinking about buying a place for them. Please call our Fort Collins Real Estate experts who can handle any CSU or investment property at 970-212-2435.

How does the Fort Collins Real Estate market stack up.. Listen to Fannie Mae and their forecast

Monday, August 23rd, 2010

Sometimes it seems that the Fort Collins Real Estate market is on an island. Other times, like now, it seems to meld right into the macro picture.
The Fort Collins homes sales trend for this last year Spring did exactly what the nations did.
The majority of the sales moved into May/June instead of July/August. This was a function of the First Time Home Buyers Tax Credit, which expired at the end of May 2010.
I do think Fort Collins statistics that come out in September will be better than the majority of the Nation’s, but it will still be down drastically year to date for the summer months. However if comparing Fort Collins Real Estate market to others, this is yet another reason to consider Fort Collins Relocation.
Here is what Fannie Mae chief economist Doug Duncan, has to say about this topic.

There is also a video interview with him on this link.

The biggest cyclocross race in the country is coming to Fort Collins.

Tuesday, July 13th, 2010

Fort Collins continues to draw more and more events, businesses as the local people here continue to show the world why Fort Collins is such a great place to visit and experience all the we have to offer.

I got this great heads up from a cool local site here: www.yourgroupride.com and here is the link to their article on this topic:http://www.yourgroupride.com/local-races/usgp-fort-collins/fort-collins-cup-home

“Our decision to move the Series to Fort Collins this year is very exciting. For the last several years a number of communities have expressed interest in bringing the USGP back to Colorado but until now we hadn’t found the right fit,” said Series Event Director, Joan Hanscom.

This race is another example of why people continue to relocate to Fort Collins. Our real estate market has been one of the biggest beneficiaries of these types of current events and activities.

The Fort Collins Real Estate market continues to hold onto modest gains and crank along slowly as our demand out weighs our supply in most price segements.

Keller Williams Fort Collins and beyond, best brand recognition.

Friday, January 29th, 2010

When our small company, Fort Collins Real Estate was acquired over a year ago by Keller Williams, we did so knowing that the National Brand was one of the best out there. This just proved what we knew and hoped.
This merger between the two companies (Fort Collins Real Estate and Keller Williams of Northern Colorado) create a great platform for our local agents to interact with a national audience of not only other agents, but customers looking to relocate to Fort Collins.
Where nationally, Fort Collins Homes prices seem to be very affordable compared to many places. “The Keller Williams Brand has really helped build my business over the last 12 months, which I don’t think many agents can say right now.” says JJ Hannah of the Keller Williams Downtown Fort Collins office.

Here is the press release:

Keller Williams Realty Ranked as Top Real Estate Franchise by Industry Leader and Entrepreneur Magazine
December 24th, 2009 AUSTIN, TEXAS (December 21, 2009) — Keller Williams Realty joined the ranks of the top franchises in the world last week, when the company was ranked as the No. 1 real estate franchise on the 31st Annual Franchise 500 list by Entrepreneur magazine. During the same week, the company was also voted the Most Recognizable Brand of Real Estate Franchises for 2009 in an industry-wide survey for the Swanepoel TRENDS Report.

“The Swanepoel TRENDS Report is a respected source for the real estate industry and beyond, as is Entrepreneur magazine, and we are excited to see our agents honored in this way for all of their hard work,” said Mark Willis, CEO, Keller Williams Realty. “We certainly wouldn’t have been included on either list without the dedication and resolve of our agents.”

According to the ranking in Entrepreneur magazine, the most important criteria to determine the top franchises included financial strength and stability, as well as growth rate and size of the franchise system. The magazine also looked at the number of years the company has been in business and the length of time it’s been franchising, in addition to start-up costs and financial data. Additionally, Keller Williams Realty made an impressive showing on the overall list, placing higher than any other real estate franchise.

The Swanepoel TRENDS Report is published by Stefan Swanepoel, a real estate industry speaker and insider. The survey was crafted to determine the Most Recognizable Brand for Real Estate Franchises for his report out in February 2010. The survey included votes cast by 11,000 plus real estate agents, who cast 390,000 votes to select the top 10.

Earlier in the year,Keller Williams Realty also received the highest overall satisfaction ratings from home buyers among the largest full-service real estate firms from J.D. Power and Associates for the second year in a row.

“We are extremely proud that our associates and company are being recognized for our strength and stability during this time in our industry,” said Mary Tennant, president and COO, Keller Williams Realty. “We attribute our success to being in business with phenomenal people and to our core business models, which have allowed our franchises to thrive during any market.”
