Nearby are Rocky Mountain National Park, Lory State Park, Horsetooth Mountain Park, Estes Park, Beaver Meadows, Pawnee Grasslands and the Poudre River. All offer a variety of activities including fishing, mountain biking, hiking, camping and sightseeing.

Colorado State University is proud to house some of the top academic programs in the county.
